Q: What are Custom Pet Portraits?
Custom Pet Portraits transform your pet’s own photos into imaginative artwork. Using digital compositing techniques, we combine your images with themed backgrounds to capture your pet’s spirit, humor, and personality.  View your options here.

Q: What product formats are available?
Custom Pet Portraits come in two formats, both ready to hang:

• Canvas Prints: Cotton-polyester blend on FSC-certified wood stretcher bars with a sleek black border.
• Wooden black or white frames (smooth): 20–25 mm thick, 10–14 mm wide, with matching border color and shatterproof plexiglass.

Q: What sizes are available?
All Custom Pet Portraits are square (1 : 1) up to 20″ × 20″. This limit ensures the best image quality based on typical photo resolutions.

Q: Why is there a 20″ × 20″ size limit?
Most customer-supplied images come from smartphones or standard cameras. To preserve sharpness and fine detail, 20″ × 20″ is the optimal maximum print size. Larger requests can be reviewed individually if your image resolution allows.

Q: How do I upload photos?
On each Custom Pet Portrait product page, you’ll find upload buttons for Pet 1, Pet 2, and Pet 3. Upload one clear image per pet, include any special notes, and we’ll take it from there.

Q: What kind of photos work best?
Natural lighting, clear eyes, and uncluttered backgrounds make for the best portraits. Crouch to your pet’s eye level and avoid harsh midday sunlight.

Q: What file types do you accept?
JPG, PNG, TIF/TIFF, and RAW files up to 25 MB each.

Q: Can I include multiple pets?
Yes! Upload one image per pet and we’ll blend them together digitally into a cohesive scene.

Q: Will I receive a proof before printing?
Yes — you’ll receive your initial proof within 3–5 business days. You may request changes, and printing begins only after you approve the final version.

No — every piece is produced on demand when you place your order. This ensures consistent quality and responsible production but also means all sales are final once printing begins.

Q: Why is Animal Art less expensive per square inch?
Because each piece is pre-composed (no customization or proofing needed), we can offer larger, gallery-scale art at a lower cost per area.

Q: Can I display multiple pieces together?
Yes — many designs share complementary colors and themes, perfect for gallery walls, triptychs like the 50’s Diner Series, or coordinated montages.

Q: What materials do you use?
• Animal Art: Canvas only — cotton-polyester blend on FSC-certified stretcher bars.

Q: Where do you ship?
We currently serve U.S. customers only.

Q: Is shipping free?
Yes — shipping is included in the price of all products. There are no extra charges at checkout.

Q: How long does production and shipping take?
• Animal Art: Made to order. Production and delivery typically take 5–12 business days.
• Custom Pet Portraits: Proof sent within 3–5 business days. After you approve your proof (including any edits), printing and shipping require an additional 5–12 business days.
Your prompt review and approval help keep delivery times short.

Q: What is your return and cancellation policy?
• Custom Pet Portraits: Fully refundable until you approve your final proof. After your approval, sales are final.
• Animal Art: Because each piece is made to order and not stocked, all sales are final once production begins. Damaged or defective items will be replaced at no cost.

Q: Do you offer gift options?
Yes — you can order a portrait or Animal Art piece as a gift, or purchase a gift certificate so the recipient can choose their favorite or be a part of the Custom Portrait creative process.
